We take time for the assessment, work with our hands and send you home with
something that carries on there. With a prescription, without one, and in a
pinch at your home as well.
Acute cases we fit in between. Give us a call and we will find something.
With or without a prescription
All statutory and private insurers. Without a prescription we see you as a self-pay patient.

Where does it pinch right now?
Pick the spot that is giving you trouble. You will then see what brings
people with similar complaints to us, and which methods we use to work
on that area.
01
Neck, head and jaw
The neck carries every screen-filled day along with you. Add tension and it
often travels on into the back of the head or the jaw. We look at how mobile
the cervical spine really is, and work outward from there.

This is an overview of what we treat here often. What makes sense in your case, we work out during the assessment and in consultation with your doctor.
02
Shoulder and arm
The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body and therefore depends on
well-guided muscle. After a period in a sling it needs both: the range of
motion back, and the strength to hold that range.

03
Back and lower spine
The lower back usually speaks up when it has had to hold still for too long.
We first release what is stuck, then build up the muscle that takes the load
off your back day to day.

04
Hip and pelvis
Hip and pelvis carry every step. When something changes there, the body finds
a way around it, and that workaround shows up later somewhere else entirely.
So we always look at the whole gait pattern.

05
Knee
The knee forgives little when the muscle around it is missing. After an
injury we therefore care about both: the mobility that was lost, and the
confidence that should come back.

06
Foot and ankle
How the rest of the body stands is decided all the way at the bottom. A foot
that regains its confidence after a cast or a torn ligament takes noticeable
work off the knee, the hip and the back.

This guide is no substitute for a medical diagnosis. It only shows how we work.
What we offer
Five paths we walk here every day.
Every course of treatment starts with an assessment. Only then does it become clear which of the following forms makes sense for you. Tap a row to read more.
With our hands we work on joints, muscles and the tissue in between. We palpate, test the range of motion and release wherever something is blocked. Much of it happens in small, quiet movements that look unspectacular from the outside and change a great deal on the inside.
Between sessions you take home two or three exercises that fit your day. No equipment, no rush, doable at the kitchen table in the afternoon.
Billable with a prescriptionAvailable as a self-pay serviceHome exercises included
This is about strength, endurance and coordination. We build your plan on what your body can do today and step it up at a pace that feels right. The equipment room is small, and never more than six people train in it at once.
Many stay on as self-pay clients once the prescription runs out, because the training has found its place in the week. That is possible, but nobody has to.

Very gentle, rhythmic strokes along the lymph pathways. The pressure is lighter than most people expect, and many grow calm or even doze off for a moment. On request we bandage afterwards.

A click when you yawn, a tired jaw in the morning, plus the neck and temples: those often belong together. We treat from the outside and, if you agree, from inside the mouth as well, always with gloves and always only as far as it stays comfortable.
Working together with your dentist matters especially here, all the more when a night guard is involved.

Three questions up frontDo you grind at night? Do you wear a night guard? Do you wake up with a headache? Just bring the answers along, it saves us a lot of time at the first session.HoursTuesday and Thursday until 7:30 pm, so it fits after work.
When the trip to us is out of the question, we come to you. That covers the weeks after surgery, anyone receiving care at home and anyone for whom a flight of stairs is a hurdle at the moment. We drive to Krefeld-Mitte, Bockum, Uerdingen and Fischeln.
The prescription has to name the home visit explicitly. If that is missing on yours, we call the doctor's office and sort it out before you have to worry about it.

From the first call to the last session
Here is how it goes with us.
Four steps, no more than that. And if a question stays open, we settle it on the phone before you come in for the first time.
1
You get in touch
By phone, through the form further down or simply at the front desk if you are nearby anyway. We need your name, the area that is troubling you and the times that work for you.
Same-day callback
2
We check the prescription
If a prescription is in hand, we look at the remedy, the number of sessions and the deadline. If something is missing, we call the doctor's office. It works without a prescription too, then as a self-pay service.
Usually done in one call
3
The first session
We take 45 minutes. First we listen, then comes the assessment: range of motion, strength, posture, gait. By the end you know what we are working on and how often we will see each other.

Your path, your pace
The following appointments are set so you can plan around them. In between you practice at home, as much or as little as fits your week. We adjust when something changes.
Fixed appointments in advance
We do not treat diagnoses. We treat people who have plans again.

Who treats you
Six people, three of whom we introduce here.
You get one therapist who stays with you. No switching from session to session, because half the progress lies in someone already knowing your story.

Took over the practice in 2008 and still treats patients herself, because she would miss it otherwise. Her focus is the back and the pelvis, especially after pregnancy.

Prescription, co-payment, self-pay
What it costs, we tell you beforehand.
Nobody should be surprised by an invoice. That is why the amounts are listed here, the same way they are posted at our front desk.
With a prescription
Your health insurer covers the treatment. You pay the statutory share unless you are exempt. Please bring your exemption certificate along once, then the matter is settled.
€10 prescription fee per referral
10 percent co-payment per session
Exempt patients pay nothing
We bill privately insured patients directly
A prescription is valid for 28 days from the date it was issued. Better to call us too early than too late, then we can still fit the appointment in.
Without a prescription
You do not need a prescription to come to us. As a self-pay patient you decide on length and frequency yourself, and we hand you an invoice that some supplemental insurers will accept.

Three steps, then we get back to you.
This is not a firm booking. You tell us what it is about and when you can come, the rest we settle on the phone. That way you avoid an appointment that is too short or too long for what you need.
Same-day callbackAnything that reaches us by 4 pm gets an answer the same day.

Common questions
This comes up a lot.
Something else on your mind?
Give us a call, that is faster than any search. We are on the phone during opening hours, and if we are in a session we call you back.
No. With a prescription we bill your health insurer, without one you come as a self-pay patient. Both run exactly the same way here, the difference lies only in the billing.
In most weeks we find a slot within seven days. After surgery and with acute complaints we try for sooner, which is why we keep two slots free every morning.
Something comfortable you can move in, so sweatpants rather than jeans. We have changing rooms and towels ready. Please bring your prescription and your insurance card.
Treatment has to begin within 28 days of the date on the prescription, otherwise it lapses. Give us a call, then we look at the date together and find an appointment that still falls inside the window.
Yes, that matters to us. Only during vacation or illness does someone from the team step in, and that person gets your records beforehand so you do not have to start your story over.
Cancel up to 24 hours ahead and there is no charge. After that we do have to bill for the appointment, because the time is lost for someone else. A short message on the answering machine is enough.
There are six spaces in front of the building for our patients. If they are taken, you will usually find something on the side street. The Rathaus stop is a three-minute walk away.
